Live Archives

I’ve taken a little bit of time to update the archives page to the latest and greatest thing to hit blogs; Live Archives. Technically they are being called Super Archives by the plugin creator, Jonas, but like Michael from Binary Bonsai, I like the name Live Archives better.
I must note that I can’t take any credit of the look and feel because Michael was nice enough to post his PHP statements and CSS for his implementation of the archives. I love the look of it but I’ll be looking into the code to see what I can improve about it. Also, Jonas is thinking about doing a similar plugin for the categories so be on the look out for something soon.

I know I only spent one weekend on this plugin, but I don’t know when I have another weekend to spend, so soon is probably promising too much.
About the name, Michael had plenty of time to complain about my choice of name during sunday when he helped debug and feature request. I guess Live Archives will be version 2.0 when everything should also be structured and error checked better.

It could be named anything and I’d love it! Looking forward to when you have time to do the categories version.
