I apologize to all Nintendo Gamecube owners out there not because I don’t support the console but because apparently Nintendo doesn’t. What am I talking about? Ok guess how many new releases the Gamecube saw during the month of April. If you guessed 10, 5 or even 2 you’d be extremely wrong.

Instead, not a single game was released for the Gamecube during April in the US. Honestly, how can a company like Nintendo, that once controlled the console business and still dominates the handheld business, not find a single game to be released for their one and only major home console? If you own a Gamecube don’t worry, you’ll be getting a whopping four releases in May provided no delays. Seriously though, Xbox and PS2 had numerous major releases during April so why is the Gamecube different?

Nintendo better wake up and realize what is happening very soon. As a gamer, this is just slightly depressing.
