April Madness

Despite the fact that the championship game is actually played in April, March madness has finally come to an end. The games were everything that college sports represents; Upsets, Cinderella stories, and domination. In the end, UNC took the crown narrowly defeating the Illini. I don’t need to do a recap as you could easily go to ESPN for that but instead I am proud to announce the winners of the 2nd Annual March Madness Challenge here at SpyderFCS.com.

Although there was a fair amount of place shifting through the rounds, it became quickly apparent who was going to be in contentsion at the end as final four picks starting dropping like fly. Probably the single team that had the biggest impact on the standing was Wake Forest with their early tournament exit. Regardless, in the end there was a clearly defined winner.

1st Place - Alexis

2nd Place - Hum….Me
Winner of One Free Print of Choice from F/1.8 and one $10 Gift Certificate to an online store of their choice. nothing really since it would be silly to give something to myself. Instead, I’ll put it toward my powerbook fund.

3rd Place- D B

Congrats to the winners but one thing I found kind of funny was that the only person, Abbie, to correctly pick the tournament winner didn’t even win the whole thing. Just goes to show that it’s not always picking the winner but having good picks throughout the tourney.

Anyway, I need the winners to contact me with their choices of prints from F/1.8, the retailers they would like their gift cards for, and addresses for where to send the prints (the gift cards can typically be done via e-mail). Thanks for everyone who participated and I look forward to seeing you all back next year.
