Guess Who’s Back

It is amazing how quickly almost a month comes and goes. I’ve neglected this web space for far too long and I am finally ready to unveil my newest incarnation of SpyderFCS.com. As you may notice, the general two column feel remains but the functional aspects of the site have materialized and hit a state with which I am satisfied with.
Beginning with the main content, I’d like to take a moment to let you know about the changes I’ve made and how to take advantage of those changes. First, you’ll notice a number floating to the right of each entries title. Although it appears to be random, it is infarct the number of comments for that particular entry. Clicking on the number will take you to the appropriate area for leaving comments. Michael Heilemann came up with this method on his site Binary Bonsai.
Continuing, every entry is categorized (shown beneath the title) according to its content. By click on the category name, you will be transferred to the archive for that particular category where you have the ability to view other entries containing the same general topic areas. At the moment, I have yet to fill through old entries and categorized them accordingly.
Moving to the sidebar, you will notice a good portion of new content. First and most important is the “latest activity” menu. Here you will find the latest five entries that have had some sort of activity, whether that is in the form of a comment or me altering the entry. The names of commenters appear below the entry title and number of comments indicator. Click on a commenters name will take you directly to their comment. Sliding down, you will find a random photo pulled for my flickr gallery. Up next is a list of the latest 15 interesting websites, articles, flash games, books, and anything else that can be linked to that I have read or find interesting. This area is constantly changing and is the perfect place for items that I feel are important but do not facilitate an entire entry.
With that, I will leave the rest of the exploring up to you. Feel free to crawl to all corners and find the spider webs that are bound to be dirtying up some portion of the site. Please, when you find these messy areas e-mail me with your web browser version, operating system, and description of where you found the nastiness. I hope you enjoy the blog in which I will be offering from this moment forward; one focused on writing, exploring, and sharing pieces of me.

Just wanted to double test the comments and prove to you that the number does change according to the number of comments here.
