Perpetual Emptiness

The possibilities of events to comment on have been plentiful. I’ve restrained myself from to writing about the absurdity that is the NBA and the ridiculous over reaction to last Monday’s Monday Night Football “opening.” Aside from sports news there is the odd, anger ridden, cliff hanger of an ending of Halo 2, the release of Half-Life 2 (which I still need to buy), and even the mention of a Toy Story 3 movie in the works (sadly not from Pixar).

While I restrained myself from writing about those articles I found it necessary to publish a post of some form or fashion to make sure you know that I am indeed not dead but rather extremely busy. With finals fast approaching combined with the various final “projects” I have in the works, I haven’t found much time to continue in the finishing designs for SpyderFCS.com. I has plenty lofty goals many of which are inspired by the greatness that is Binary Bonsai. Published by Michael Heilemann, the site incorporates content that I only dream of being able to produce at this point. I recently released the new “version” of the site and it is absolutely stunning.

I suppose that is all for now but while your playing around this wonderful resource called the internet be sure to check out the Screen Grab Confab Vol. II. Many of the top designers (specifically in the CSS realm) tend to post current projects or just interesting screen shots in the form of 320×320 pixel images. Cameron Moll really hit the nail on the head with this idea.
