Well…
Posted in General 4 years ago.
Typical for a website to promise something a not follow through. Slack I know but hey, it happens. While I certainly have a good amount on my platter not all hope is lost. I am slowly working on things around here in between the most important thing at the moment, school. I have multiple projects on the horizon each of which needs my full attention. Regardless, I do have plans and do have goals for SpyderFCS.com. A few things that will trickle their way on the site include the completion of all the “pages” that make up the website. In addition I am working on a few lengthy commentaries on everything ranging from video games to web design to even the possibility of a relatively life changing change of location. Now don’t get too excited because these “articles” are lowest on the priority scale. Higher up are things such as my economics paper, the designing and construction of a website for my parents business, and finding time to take same pictures! [f/1.8]
So if you will, be patient and bear with me while I focus on the most important things in my life. However, I will absolutely be updating this portion of the site with the randomness I’ve come to provide in addition to the ATM [at the moment] links on the right. And in case you were wondering, I have updated a few things as far as the look goes. I read a couple photoshop tutorials from pages like Scooner.net and PhotoshopLover. If you ever see a graphic or graphic effect and you’re curious as to how it was created, look over those sites and do a google search and it’s amazing what you’ll find. I am currently playing with patterns and the “shiny glass effect” for parts of the site.
Update: I recently changed the position of the date for each entry from above the black line to below it. This will allow me to have longer “titles” for my entries rather then be limited to 2-3 words. However, in doing so I managed to somehow break the ability to click on the link to the permalink fo each entry and the link to leave/read comments. Even more odd is the fact that it only broke within Firefox but works with IE (I’m not sure about Safari but I assume it doesn’t work either). I haven’t quite fiqured out where I went wrong but I am work on it. So for the mean time please just e-mail me at brad@spyderfcs.com
