G - G - Gmail

I’ve was lucky enough to get an invite to Google’s latest and great service, Gmail. If you are even remotely on top of the tech news, you should already know that Gmail is raising the standards for free e-mail services. Gmail, while still in “private-beta,” offer 1GB of storage space which has caused MSN, Yahoo, and others to up their own respective storage capacities.
Regardless, I love the service and while it is hard to juggle multiple e-mail addresses, I surely will use Gmail as one of my main addresses. So why tell you about this you ask? Well, I have an invitation to give out. That’s right, you too can have free Gmail before the masses. All you need to do is be the first to leave a comment with your e-mail and it’s yours…

Yeah I’m sure you already gave all of your invites out but I guess I was just wondering what exactly it is that someone has to do in order to actually obtain a G-Mail account??? I am dying to get one b/c I share a lot of music with people and well you know how it is………Well if you’ve got an extra you know who is always available to give one to. By the way I like your site a lot……good mix of everything.

The only way to get a Gmail account right now is through an invite. I guess I didn’t make the clear in my orginal post. Anyway, I still have the invite but the whole “sharing music” thing sounds a little sketchy…
by the way…don’t I know you from some where…

You got an account? How in the world? Don’t tell me you got lucky with Kevin’s random generator! I sat there and tried that method for about 10 minutes before I realized the infinitely small chance I had of succeeding…maybe I’ll find a way in eventually. Congratz!

I’d like to sit here and tell you I got that lucky but honestly, I just happened to be the first person to reply to a post that someone made on Neowin.net
