Sad Face

Canon Digital RebelSo today I was snapping a few photos with my Digital Rebel when all the sudden I get an error message. I was not too concerned because I have recieve this message in the past. So I do the usual remedy; turn off the power, take the memory card out, and put it back in. Normally, this method works like a charm and I’m back taking pictures within a minute. Well, today this was not the case.

Instead, when I switch the power to on…nothing happened. At first I thought the door for the battery or the memory slot was not closed fully (as this will prevent the power from turning on) but all was good with both doors. I tried it all. I took the memory card and batteries out for 10 minutes or so and tried it again and still nothing. I made a quick post over a DigitalRebelForum but still nothing worked. Anyway, looks like I have to send the body back to Canon for service. The only good thing they did say was that the turn around time should be about ten to fourteen days, which isn’t too bad for customer service.

On another, lighter note, I am in the midst of working on something for the site. Ironically it is for the pictures portion of the site but it should be ready within the next two weeks (give or take), so be on the look out.
