Winners and More Winners

Congratulations to the University of Connecticut Huskies Men’s Basketball in defeating the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to win the NCAA Men’s National Championship. Uconn started strong and never let Georgia Tech get into the game. The final score, 82-73, marked the first time since 1996 that the preseason No. 1 ranked team won the NCAA National Championship.
Ok, and now to business. Congrats also to F.Griffin who prevailed in a very close contest in the 1st Annual SpyderFCS.com March Madness Challenge. His steady picks kept him near the top but not on top. At least until the Championship game. Frankie was the only person in the challenge to pick the correct winner, ulitmately pushing him over the top to win the challenge despite several strong runs by L.Myers and D.Botelho.

If you look at the final standings you will notice that Team “I Win” in fact won. Hooray for me!!!

hey there…this is lmyers…alexis’ friend lauren…yeah i def screwed up by picking kentucky…but managed to keep a strong lead overall!! but thanks to your genourosity i still get a prise….whoo hoo…in fact just mail it to alexis i told her i would share my winnings with her!!
