It Would Appear To Be That Time

I’m proud to officially cut the ribbon on SpyderFCS.com’s new design. I’ve labored tirelessly, day and night, and I am very satisfied with the results.
When I set out to re-design the site, I wasn’t sure at all how I wanted it to appear. I tinkered here and there with different formatting and layouts. After visiting literally hundreds of websites both personal and corporate, I was faced with two choices; Design the site entirely in pure HTML or use a combination of HTML and CSS. The choice was simple.
CSS stands for “cascading style sheets” and when combined with HTML, the two provide unparallel flexibility. Moving with the flow of flexibility, I have added the ability for all viewers to leave comments on every aspect of the site. No long are comments only allowed on the “front page” but now also can be left on the icons, desktops, pictures, music, reviews, and bio pages. With this, I hope to create a sense of “community,” where viewers will visit repeatedly to see if others comment on their comments or mine.
Aside from that boring note, one of the most exciting aspects I have been able to implement is the ability for each viewer to select his or her own theme.
Not only can they choose a theme but that theme will remain the same each and every time the site is visited. Right now there are a total of seven themes, which can be changed by click on the dark grey bars on the right column directly under the top banner. Also, check back for more themes as I plan on creating even more.
Well, since this redesign signifies an advancement for SpyderFCS.com and gives me new found enthusiasm and passion to provide the very best content I possibly can while maintaining my daily goals and personal life. I hope you enjoy this update and will also find a renewed interest in SpyderFCS.com and I eagerly await any and all comments regarding this update or just about anything.

Thanks! Are you using Safari? Does everything look like it lines up? I can’t test Safari due to my mac-less nature…

It looks great!… even better than the preview I saw a few weeks ago! Aside from the obvious aesthetic improvements, I like the “newswire” additions (I’ll probably visit more now
), and the new “Reviews” section. I guess the latter will be especially helpful for me
. Also, your new picture is awesome. Even though I can’t view the new site through a Mac, it’s still cool (though, I guess that makes ME less cool).
I hope you’re proud of your work.
