it’s not going to be often that I just site here and write. maybe this is one of those rare opportunities to just talk…I don’t know…but if you don’t like it yet than I would probably stop reading. nevertheless, i have thought so much about what i want to do with this site; whether it is worth the time and effort to continue with it or if anyone actually visits the site. sadly enough, i can check the statistics for it but honestly those are very skewed by no one else but me. i visit my own site about three or four times more than anyone. anyway, as i was saying…it is very difficult to generate a consistent flow of content. i would love nothing more than this site to be a haven for icons, desktops, and more…but honestly that is just not possible. some of the creators of all the wonderful icons out there are thrilled to allow me to host and distribute their icons while others seem to think it is a terrible act of some sort. i need ideas as to what you would want from this site, do you want pictures? wallpapers? more icons? news? etc… I want to give any and all viewers a custom tailored experience. Which leads me into my next topic.

i doubt that many of you are familiar with CSS but it is a web standard for website layout. I posted earlier, giving some examples of this standard and am trying my best to learn the language. It’s difficult, time consuming but I do believe it will allow for potentially unlimited possibilities for this site. I plan to have multiple color schemes and such in which you, the user, can select and have each time you visit the site. something similar can be seen at SimpleBits.com (click the different color “boxes” near the top right).

ok…well I am sick of typing already. so maybe this didn’t turn out to be as long as I thought it would but honestly I just don’t know what to say. part of me wants to talk about events and part of me wants to talk about me…such a dilemma, I know. Well, for a little bit on me, I am desperately trying to devise a plan to buy either an iBook or a Powerbook within the next few months. I have some money saved up but definitely am short by just a “few” dollars. other than my attempt to feed my nerdly hunger, I am attempting to learn to play the guitar. it’s insanely hard but will hopefully be worth it in the end. I rearranged my apartment (well my living room at least). It’s much better but still lacks the “lived in feel” because I own a mishmash of furniture, bean bags, lamps, etc… hum…anything else interesting………….(thinking)……………(thinking)…….well not so much. i just seem to be on a “new me” kick but unlike before, am not planning to letting it go.
